Property Taxes Due

Property Taxes Due

It’s getting to be that time again – Property Taxes are due!

This is a friendly reminder that Property Tax bills are mailed out in October, and your first installment of taxes is due on November 1st.

Important Dates to Remember:

–       Fiscal year begins July 1st and ends June 30th of the following year

–       First installment of taxes due November 1st, delinquent after December 10th

–       Second installment due February 1st, delinquent after April 10th

If you do not receive your bill one month prior to the delinquency date, a written request should be made to your local County Tax Collector.  Be sure to include a legal description with your request.

You may call the treasurer and tax collector’s 24 hour toll free property tax line or visit their website with any questions you may have. Make sure to have your Assessors Parcel Number (APN), which can be found on your purchase agreement, preliminary title report, or title insurance policy.
