Being Victims of Our Past: A Few Thoughts From Our President, Jeff Russell

Are you a victim of your past? Unfortunately, the answer for many people is yes.

Here’s a great quote from Gary John Bishop:

“You are not a victim of your past. I’m not saying people don’t become victims of their own past:  I’m saying you are not one until the moment in time you decide you are.”

So, make a decision: are you a victim?

And before you answer the question, remember the message I shared about labels. Maybe your initial answer was going to be yes; it may shift to something like, “I was victimized, but I am not a victim.”

What are you going to do now?

Life is good. – Jeff
